The embattled deputy national secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasir El-Rufai, has made a call for everyone to join #1 opposition party of Nigeria.
He took his accounts on social media (Facebook & Twitter) on January 28, 2014, to address the Nigerians:
“APC membership registration starts at every Polling Unit on February 5. Please come along with TWO passport photos if above 18 years old!
“YOUNG PEOPLE: Help yourself to win & create a Nigeria of your dreams. Resist looting & impunity? Join APC. Registration starts February 5...” he wrote.
our people talk of fighting corruption when they are out of office and when they are back in, its business as usual. i think i will stick with the devil i know.

ReplyDeleteWhy would El-Rufai ask the youths to join the APC now that they have accepted all those people they formally call thieves from PDP.Initially i thought the APC would have fair enough to have allowed the youths(new blood) to be infused into the party,this would have made the party more viable and more credible,but now that the old blood has taken over the party,how would the voice of this new breed be heard.Can Tinumbu and Buhari allow this this new blood to be selected to run for the presidency in the party in 2015.I will rather say that this call from El-Rufai is very late,i wish the party will suvive beyound 2015.
