COPA LAGOS 2013: Nigeria's Super Sand Eagles Trash Germany 7-1

Nigeria's Super Sand Eagles got off their campaign in this year's Copa Lagos Beach tournament on a winning note beating former European champions, Germany 7-1 on Friday.

Nigeria started the game with so much finesse as they completely mesmerized the Germans from the blast of the whistle.

Isiaka Olawala opened scoring for the Nigerians in the 4th minute after a shocking gaffe from the Germans goalkeeper.

Germany thought that their resilience would be productive after the Nigerians had scored the first goal, but striker Abu Azeez compound their woes by scoring three goals later on.

Abu Azeez's goals will be the first hattrick recorded in this year's Copa Lagos Beach competition.

The Germans started the second set more lively and they got one goal back before Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, Okemmiri and Emeka finished the Europeans in the final set.

Nigeria have won the first two editions in this Copa Lagos Beach tournament and they will tackle Lebanon on Saturday for their second duel.

Lebanon were impressive in their first game as they beat debutants, Senegal 5-4.
