The Argentinian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Gustavo Dzugala, in company with the deputy head of mission, Mr. Jose Alvarez, who made the appeal when he visited the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro in Abuja on Thursday, explained that his visit was to advocate the transfer of the prisoners.
According to him, Argentinian and Nigerian governments can share experiences and learn from each other in a way that can build a strong and enduring partnership between both countries.
Dzugala stated that his country had embarked on a programme called ‘South South cooperation’ which allows prisoners of affected nations to be transferred back to their respective countries and complete their jail terms.
