Benue State Governor serves as best man to a cook during his wedding ceremony

Peter Anyiman an indigene of Benue State was lucky enough to have his State Governor as his best man at his wedding last Saturday.

The Governor said Mr Peter is a very diligent man who deserves to be honoured. According to him, Mr Peter who is a cook, serving Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Michael Tumba in Abuja  had demonstrated a true commitment to his duties for 18 years and deserved to be honoured.

Just like a best man would do, he helped the groom to adjust his tie and also cleaned his face at intervals.

Anyiman expressed his delight at having his own state governor serving as his best man, saying he couldn't have wished for a better wedding gift.

  8. Suswan! Create more time to look into the situation of your state as the state is backward in terms development. Pls pay a visit to North Bank suburb, a typical village that is yet to see dividend of governance. Water Board is across the river there but cannot have a taste of tap water. No constant lights. If there must be, its not more than a candlelight. Every street is covered with rsfuse dump. No sanitation. No regulation for PIG rearers as its activities on the local roads have caused the soil structure to rode away by erosion. Pls try and see for yourself...

  11. I think its nice to take time like this once in a while but the gov should try to spend little time in the state as he has compeletly became the hand bag to the president all in the name of seeking relevance after 2015 election. Wait wait, these politicians, do they have any plan to invested all the money they make while in govt? They always seek for one leadership position or another. Na wha ooooooo

  13. That's nice. One good turn deserved another. We may not know what is in-between. But do well to give the guy a good appointment, not money. Give him and his wife good opportunities to live well.

  14. The Gov should pick this man up from being a cook for 18 years. Adjusting his tie and cleaning his face is good. But he should not think that the guy was born to be a cook all his life. He should train the man and get the man established if he is really sincere with this humility. This will show that he was not playing to the gallery to score people's admiration for political gains.
