After trouncing Tahiti in their opening Group B match in the ongoing FIFA Confederations Cup, tagged ‘Brazil 2013′, African Champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will tonight face a sterner test against Uruguay at the Estadio Arena Fonte Nova, Salvador. Time is 11pm (Nigeria time).


This game is no doubt, the crucial encounter for both Nigeria and Uruguay in the group stage as it will determine who qualifies for the knock-out stages.

Beaten by Spain in their opening match, Uruguay are set to take all three points in this match as that is the only chance of progressing in this tournament.

However, given their performance against Tahiti on match day one, do you think Super Eagles have the capability to beat Uruguay and qualify for the next stage?

  2. Well...I believe the opponent determines how the super eagles play.i expect them to step up their game against uruguay,victory is sure,go eagles.
