PHOTO OF THE DAY:

Update: Apologies to all our readers, a reader sent the controversial picture to us and insisted it was a recent picture, however, further investigations revealed that it was taken over a year ago. We also cannot link it to any religious agitations.

We hereby apologise for the misinformation.

We will now be taking down the picture.

Thanks

    1. @truReligion, so the way to protest against your so-called disrespect is to take lives by violence? You no this have been going on for a long time and despite, all the protests and noise, it will still continue. I would suggest all you Muslims go and try other ways of stopping your disrespects cos apparently, it's not working. So stop wasting your time on noise over nothing.

  40. Diz common act shows d lowest level of knowledge dis people have when it comes 2 self actualization. What do you realy expect them to do when they had already been brainwashed right from childhood (Almajiri) by their so called religious scholars(mallams). Dis is no longer news as they kill their parents in d act too.

  41. There are better things to share than pictures of this nature. I dont expect that with what is happening with the Anti-Islam video we should be promoting this type of picture (if the picture is really true). Let's channel our energy towards Nation development and not somnething that becomes another fight between the Xtrians and the Muslims

  42. it not like muslems in Nigeria love moh..d or wat ever he is called its just that we dont like you exposing his dirty garment to the world, such acts will giv rum to muslems to steal, kill & destroy.

  44. subhanAllah!!! May Allah forgive these people for what they have done to this Cat, have they forgotten the story of a prostitute who gave a thirsty dog water to drink and Allah granted her Paradise for that gesture. They need to repent before death meet them, this' cruelty, Islam forbids this. Although our Prophet, Jesus son of MARYAM (Peace be upon him) was never crucified as the XtiAn world was made to believe. These people are not MuSlims until they sincerely repent. Jesus is not God and CAN'T fight for nothing, he CAN'T do anything for himself, only Allah (///OD) can, Xtians take heed

  45. Kindly remove this picture from the link otherwise, you are as guilty as those that posted (and acted) the Anti-Islam video. Pictures of this nature should never be promoted nor encouraged.

  46. They ought to have crucified one of them to show real practical. Foolish people.

WE CANT BE PROVOKED BY ALL THESE NO MATTER WHAT YOU MUSLIMS DO. CANT U GROW UP TO SEE THAT CHRISTIAN DON'T LIKE PROBLEM. IF YOU DURAN TEACHES YOU ON MAKING PROBLEM, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHANGE AS IT IS NOT A GOOD TEACHING. I PRAY YOU GUYS DONT REGRET YOUR ACTIONS

  49. Funny enough the boys in the picture I know them and they are not Muslims. And crucifiction was done by pegans in that manner even before Jesus. And they didn't crucified the cat to make fun of Jesus. If you don't have anything meaningful to published please don't insight religious issues.

Lets join head and fight our corrupt leaders not fight each order. How are you sure this was not delibrately done to cause more trouble for some one in the US to win election. 55. Any true muslim love, respect and accept the true message of Jesus christ. Therefore I refuse to accept that a true muslim is cpable of denegrating the personality of Jesus. THIS IS THE HANDIWORK OF CHRISTIANS..PERIOD.

  56. Christians don`t fight for God. He is able all by Himself. Religious act doesn`t saved. It`s already done-only one way by which men can be saved.

  57. Muslim youths should be aware that Jesus left the cross over 2,000years ago to heaven where He now reigns as the king of kings,Lord of lords, the first and the last,Beginning and the end,the Ancient of Days, the Alpha and the Omega, He that was,He that is and He that is to come, the fountain of life, the Lilly of the valley, the bright morning star, the El olam, the most high God,Ever lasting Father, the one mightier than All etc

  58. It surprises me when i see some act ignorantly. In other Arab countries their was nowhere any religious group or their belief was ridiculed or attacked but it is only in the northern part of Nigeria.
It therefore means that their protest is religious not political as the case is now in Nigeria.
Religious matter is different from political issue that was why other countries protested against diplomatic missions instead religious groups and there was wide condemination against the movie.
Northern ignorance is dragging us back.
