Erstwhile chairman of the Nigerian Football Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima has challenged the congress of the Nigerian Football Federation, (NFF) to do the same they did to him six years ago as most of them that rescind his election are still there.
The former Chairman of Kano State Sports Council urged the Maigari led Board to acquaint Nigerians with what caused the fall of Nigeria’s football as he expressed dissatisfaction with the present state of the country’s football.
He also advocated a round table meeting of stakeholders where the NFF and the Government would prescribe the way forward for the country’s football.
“The experts that constitute the congress which turned down my election six years ago are still alive. They should respond to Maigari’s plight as touching Nigerian’s future.
“It is not the best of times for our football. The federation should do us a favour by informing us about what caused the downward slide of our football in one year because most Nigerians have given up on the board. “They own us this responsibility as being saddled with it. If they don’t tell us what transpired in their own opinion, Nigerians will not know how to help them out of the situation. The NFF should inform FIFA of its predicament, so there will be an easy way out for us,” Alhaji Galadima stressed.
