Senator Bala Mohammed
The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has approved the promotion of 3,997 staff of the FCT Administration (FCTA) who successfully scaled through the last promotional examination.
The total number of those with approval includes 2,728 senior staff and 1,269 junior staff from various Mandate Secretariats, Departments and Agencies.
Mohammed has also approved the conversion and upgrading as well as advancement of some staff of the FCTA including 67 senior staff, and 26 junior staff; while 16 staff was for advancement.
He said: “This approval was in recognition of their hard work, dedication to duty and loyalty. The Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan as well as the Roadmap of this administration recognises hard work and selfless service to the nation.”
The Minister called for renewed commitment and vigour in service delivery to the residents of the FCT and the entire country; insisting that this will surely serve as motivation and spur the beneficiaries to greater height.
According to Mohammed, “to whom much is given, much is expected”; stressing that in a couple of days he expects to see this gesture translated into improved productivity
