Police declare Ibadan drivers union bosses wanted
Baba Adisa Bolanta, the state commissioner of police, told journalists at the command headquarters on Wednesday that the duo of Lateef Akinsola (aka Tokyo) and Mukaila Lamidi (aka Auxiliary) had to be declared wanted after failing to honour invitation to turn themselves in to the police.
He also disclosed that six members of the union have been arrested and put under interrogation over the mayhem. "The wanted men are to face criminal charges for alleged conspiracy, armed robbery and unlawful possession of prohibited fire arms," he said.
Mr Bolanta urged residents of the state to volunteer information on how to track down the two union leaders, expressing the command's commitment to treating such information with confidence.

Declaring the step as a way of demonstrating the police's determination to bring all the perpetrators of the dastardly act to book, he asked such volunteer to call the police on 08080773722, 081266595595, 08081774001 and 08059742383.
He also commented on the claim that the wanted individuals have sent their representatives to the police, saying the matter involved is criminal and has to do with human lives.
Describing Tokyo as an ‘unrepentant criminal', Mr Bolanta said he had told lawyers who came to represents the suspect that their presence does not substitute for honouring the police invitation.
He informed reporters that four of the six union members arrested were picked from a nearby bush behind the Iwo-Road motor park where the killings took place on Monday. The other two, he added, were arrested at Egbeda area.
