Boxing legend, Henry Cooper dies at 76

British boxing legend Sir Henry Cooper, who will always be remembered for flooring Muhammad Ali, has died aged 76.
The London-born left-hander, known to fans as ‘Our ‘Enery’, passed away in Oxted, Surrey at his son’s house earlier on Sunday.

Sir Henry, who was previously awarded an OBE, was knighted in 2000 and is a former British, Commonwealth and European heavyweight champion.
Ali was known under his former name Cassius Clay when Cooper knocked him down in a non-title fight in 1963 at Wembley Stadium.
In the days when there was only one world title, Cooper saw his chances of claiming it dashed when champion Clay beat him in the sixth round in a rematch in London in 1966 due to a gash over his eye.
Cooper, who boxed with an orthodox stance - giving his ‘Enery’s ‘Ammer’ signature left hook its awesome power - was the first person to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award twice (in 1967 and 1970).
