Nigerians turned out en -masse yesterday to register for their voters cards in preparation for the April 2011 elections. However, many were disappointed as the exercise was far from organized and hitch-free. Complaints mainly centered around the inefficiency of the famed DDC machines which could barely capture fingerprints and many other system hitches. Also some registration officials failed to resume at their duty posts and kept people waiting for hours expectant that they would soon show up.
