The Nigerian Army has released dedicated phone lines to call
when in danger on the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.
The numbers were released on Saturday by Headquarters 1
Division Nigerian Army Operations Centre.
Recall that some daredevil criminals now have their hideouts
on this route. They have for a while now resulted to kidnapping passengers
plying the busy route to later demand huge ransoms from the families before
setting them free.
The security agencies have however reiterated their
commitment to flushing out the kidnappers and making the expressway safe again
for passengers and other road users.
The numbers to reach are 0901 138 3832 and 0703 333 0181.
