Actor Chris Attoh flies to Maryland after wife, Bettie Jenifer’s murder



Bettie Jenifer, wife of popular Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh was reportedly shot dead in Maryland, United States of America on Friday evening.

The actor, according to reports, has since abandoned his projects in Los Angeles California, to fly into Maryland following the death of his wife.

The actor, according to sources, is overwhelmed as expected, and is sure to gather details concerning the sad news.

His new wife was reportedly shot by a gunman on the Friday night after she had closed from work.

According to Greenbelt Police the woman was shot in the head at the car park of an office complex at around 5:10 pm

Initial investigations by police in the US indicated that Jenifer had exited a nearby office building and was walking towards her car when she was approached by a suspect who was armed with a handgun. 

She had walked to her car at the Greenbelt Parking Lot when the armed man approached her wielding the deadly weapon. Out of fear, Attoh’s wife started running to save her life.

However, her attacker kept firing shots, and police in the USA said, at least, one shot struck her.
She was later pronounced dead at the scene when police arrived.

Her attacker has been described as a “a black male with a thick build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and dark pants” by the Police and he remains on the run.

Meanwhile, Chris Attoh had sparked divorce rumours when he deleted all photos of his her, whom he married just last year 2018, from his social media pages.

She was the second wife of the actor, after his first marriage to Nigerian actress, Demilola, failed.

Damilola, had last week indicated interest to re-marry after she posted on social media that her future husband should be ready for a hefty bride price.
