BREAKING: APM rejects Ogun state governorship election results, accuse APC of massive rigging

The Allied Peoples Movement has rejected the ongoing election results being announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The APM Campaign Director General, Sarafa Ishola, said this on Sunday at the party’s secretariat at Leme, Abeokuta.

Ishola alleged that the election which began peacefully on Saturday was allegedly hijacked by hoodlums and “unidentified unform men” during the collation stage.

He said the results of the election were manipulated in favour of APC.

He said the APM had petitioned INEC in the state to investigate the “infractions” and stop announcement of results forthwith.

The DG expressed concern that ,despite the complaints, the INEC has started announcing the results.

Ishola said the APM rejects the results as being announced, declaring that “it was hijacked, compromised and did not reflect the wishes of Ogun people.”

“The people of Ogun state has been raped”, Akinlade declared, saying all legal means to undo the alleged injustice.
