The Special Adviser to Rivers State Governor on Lands and
Survey, Dr Anugbom Anuogha, who was abducted by unknown gunmen in Ada George
axis of Port Harcourt, has regained his freedom.
Dr Anuoha, who was held captive for 14 days, regained
freedom in the early hours of yesterday.
The Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi
Omoni, said the pressure mounted by the police and other security agencies in
the state on the abductors made them to free the victim. He said that the
police are on trail of the kidnappers, to arrest them.
