The Plateau REC, Hussein Pai, at the state INEC headquarters in Jos, explained to stakeholders that the collation officer for Bokkos LGA, who is a senior lecturer, was drunk and unable to perform his duties.

Pai said, "We took a decision whereby the INEC staff took over and in the meantime the actual collation officer is being stepped aside because, clearly, he could not just perform."

The Assistant Electoral Officer for Bokkos LGA, Adedoyin Musbau, said there was no cancellation and presented the following result for the presidential elections:

This new LIVE RESULTS page is dedicated to our second day of the coverage of voting and early results as declared by INEC in the ongoing presidential and National Assembly elections, most especially as early results are beginning to roll in from the different polling centres and wards nationwide.

We deeply appreciate everyone who participated in information gathering and sent in reports, pictures and videos from various polling units nationwide.

We believe election results announced at polling units are authentic and documenting them could help put officials and politicians in check. So, let us all contribute to documenting proceedings at our polling units.
PS: The results published on NigerianEye.com are validly counted and declared votes by INEC officials at the respective polling units, wards or local government referenced. The counting was also confirmed.

  2. I went to vote at obio/akpo ward one polling unit 14 Rivers State. The INEC adhoc arrived late(9am) and the card readers malfunctioned which lead to delay in voting process. At about 3pm we were addressed by a police superintendent that we should go that the card readers have shot down completely leaving more than 100 person not voting.

  5. I know it was going to be very difficult to replicate the election process conducted in 2015. I hope the people's choice would count and those who lost should accept the outcome of the result just like President Goodluck Jonathan did for peace to reign. The whole World is watching....
