Promiscuity isn’t the reason why I’m a single mother -Nigerian lady insists

Woman explains why she

Despite the odds of being a single parent and making the wrong choices especially as it concerns the issue of a life partner, this young Nigerian lady has come out in the open to share her touching story as an inspiration to all struggling single mothers.

An Instagram user who identifies herself as Johnson Shade Arike (@Fola_shadeyy) has taken to the social media platform to share a rather touching story about the circumstances surrounding her situation as a single mum.

The lady revealed that she did not turn out to become a single mother because she had been promiscuous or engaged with several men, but simply because she had naively taken to the words of a man who had promised her heaven and instead led her to the fiery gates of hell.

She went on to reveal that the man had gone ahead to take advantage of the pure love she had for him, thereby leaving her to bear the brunt of pregnancy all by herself.

In her post, she said: “I am a single mum not because i was promiscuous, not because I had many men, not because i was immoral. But because i trusted the wrong man with my heart, gave myself out to the wrong man who took advantage of my simple naive and pure love.the man promised heaven but led me the hell way.”

Shade went on to disclose everything she had to endure all alone during the course of carrying the pregnancy of her child. From enduring hatred and ridicule to embracing the struggles of motherhood all by herself, everything came in her favour as she eventually emerged as a strong woman.

The young woman used the opportunity to congratulate all single mothers who had emerged strong and victorious despite the existence of fathers who had failed to take responsibility. She also used the opportunity to admonish herself saying: “I must remain strong, composed, courageous and focused since that child has no one else to look up to except me”
