Top members of the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, in Kebbi State have sustained various degrees of
injuries during their campaign in Jeda Local Government Area of the State.
All the party’s topshots on the
podium, including the governorship candidate, Isah Muhammad Galaudi, a former
chief of staff to Bukola Saraki, fell off when the podium collapsed completely.
Nigerians, however in their
reactions on social media, have berated the organisers of the PDP campaign in
Kebbi over their negligence by not ensuring that the podium was strong enough
to accommodate as many people as possible.
