Nigerian music star, David
‘Davido’ Adeleke is no doubt one of the forces to reckon with in the
entertainment industry.
In a chat on For The Record with
DJ Abass, the father of two explained that he is not bothered about what blogs
have to say about him because he is bigger.
He said: “I don’t care about
media pressure. I’m bigger. I have 9.1 million followers, any blog wey write
any nonsense I go post my own back. Me sef I be blog.”
Speaking further on negative
publicity, a fan wanted to know what Davido is doing to manage controversial
journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has in recent times thrown several onslaught against
the singer and his family.
In response to that, he said: “I
don’t know her.”
His denial did not go down well with the journalist and she took to her instagram page to react. She wdisclosed that she was at the hospital when the singer’s mom went into
labour on November 19th, 1992. She further claimed that she was one of the
journalist who was kicked out of the courtroom when his father’s divorce was
finalized.
She wrote ; “What Davido
meant to say; ” I am bigger than any media. I have 9.1M fans, me sef I be blog.
Davido tells British radio station that he doesnt know me. True he may not
remember when I was in the hosipital when his mom went into labor November 19th
1992 before he was delivered early 21st. He may not have noticed I was one of
the 17 Journalists kicked out of the courtroom”.
