The All Progressives Congress
(APC) has cleared two more governors for its governorship primary.
They are governors of Kano and
Kaduna, Umar Ganduje and Nasir El-Rufai.
The decision was approved by the
National Working Committee (NWC), according to a statement on Friday by party
spokesman, Yekini Nabena.
The statement added that the name
of a cleared governorship aspirant from Ogun State (South West) was earlier misrepresented,
noting that the correct name is Hon. Bimbo Ashiru.
Meanwhile, the party has shifted
its primary to September 30.
The APC had on Thursday released
a list of governorship aspirants that have been cleared to contest for
primaries in 26 states.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s
ministers, Aisha Alhassan aka Mama Taraba and Adebayo Shittu were not cleared.
Ho will mama Taraba be cleared when she has openly declared her support for Atiku?
