Shehu Sani, the senator
representing Kaduna Central has stated that the present administration is yet
to end killings in some parts of the country because the victims are poor.
He wrote “The indifference of the
ruling political establishment to end the ceaseless violence & killings in
the country is based on the fact that the victims are the poor and the peasants
in rural areas.”
Recall that no fewer than 27
persons were killed and several houses set ablaze after suspected bandits
attacked Gwaska village in Brinin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State
on Saturday.
The attack came barely a week
after nine local miners were killed by gunmen at Janruwa village in Brinin
Gwari.
It was gathered that the armed
bandits, who reportedly came in from Zamfara State, surrounded Gwaska up to
Kuiga village around 2.30pm and killed nine persons, mostly children.
They are called bandits and villagers because the killed are Muslims. If the killed are majorly christains, it would be tagged herdsmen and christains. Islamophobia and media hype against PMB
