Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has launched the National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME clinic in Kogi State.


The programs which is an arm of the Social Investment Programmes was held at the open field of the 25,000 sitting capacity confluence stadium, Lokoja.

Launching the MSME Clinic on Tuesday, VP Osinbanjo said the programmes is aimed at giving the people a better life.

He said there is no need to use connection to become a beneficiaries of the SIP schemes.

“You don’t need to know a governor or Senator or politicians before you benefit. This is the kind of country we are trying to build. A country without corruption,.or man- know man. You apply, if you are eligible you get picked.

“I’m proud of what happened in Kogi state and the governor for the outstanding works for the people, traders, market women, artisans and people with disability.

“We’ll support and do anything that will can to help small business grows in Nigeria.”

The VP said with the difficulty in small businesses growing, the FG has brought in financial institutions to the clinic to help the people.

The Clinic features a series of workshop which created platform for stakeholders and businesses to discuss issues affecting set- up and operations of MSMEs in Nigeria.
