BBOG confirms rescued Chibok girl on list

Members of the #BringBackOurGirls (#BBOG) advocacy have confirmed that the rescued Chibok girl Salomi Pogu is number 15 on their list.

In an earlier statement by the Deputy Director Public Relations, Military Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole Col. Onyema Nwachukwu, he said the Chibok girl was found in the company of a 14-year old girl and her baby.

Spokesperson for the #BBOG, ‎Sesugh Akume in a statement confirmed that Salomi is number 15 on their list and not 86 as stated by the military and that her father is Mallam Pogu Yahi from Chibok.

He stated, “The Military Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole has announced that Nigerian troops of the operation in Pulka today rescued one of our 113 missing Chibok girls, Solomi Pogu, along with another young girl of about 14 years old, Jamila Adams who is with a child.
