2019: What Nigerians are saying about Buhari’s re-election bid

Controversies have continued to trail President Muhammadu Buhari’s reported re-election bid, amidst killings in Benue and economic challenges in the country.

On Friday, some Nigerians the blasted All Progressive Congress for claiming President Muhammadu Buhari still has the populace support come 2019.

This was in reaction to a video shared by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his Twitter handle showing mammoth crowd hovering over Buhari at Kaduna for the inauguration of Kaduna–Abuja train service on Thursday.

Bashir alongside the video wrote: “Millions of Nigerians cannot be emotionally blackmailed into choosing who they would vote for. These crowds here have already made their choice — and they love Nigeria. Even as much as they love Mr. President.

“President @MBuhari earlier today in Kaduna. #SaiBaba.”

However, some Nigerians seem not to be in agreement with this as they insist Buhari has lost vote of many, blaming unemployment and hardship in the country for the crowd that welcomed him.

However, others in support of Buhari’s re-election bid in 2019 said he will emerge victorious as Nigerians still love him despite challenges.
