Why we joined APC – Alao-Akala, Folarin, others

A former governor of Oyo State, Adebayo Alao-Akala, Teslim Folarin, and others have said they joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, because the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was dead.

 

They said this while pledging their loyalty to their new party.

They said these when they were received by South West leaders of the APC in Oyo State, Saturday.

According to Alao-Akala who spoke on behalf of others, “There is dynamism in politics. Today, we are in APC for real and will abide by the party rules.

“I salute Tinubu, our leader and my brother, Ajimobi for welcoming us into the party.

“I assure you that APC is the only party in Oyo State. All that is needed now is to pick who will be what and when. The PDP is dead in Oyo State.”
