Use your private jets to repatriate migrants – Daddy Freeze tells Nigerian pastors

Controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly called Freeze, has lashed out at Nigerian pastors over their silence on the ongoing alleged slave trade in Libya.

Freeze condemned pastors for maintaining sealed lips on matter while celebrities raised their voices against the inhumane act.

According to him, the private jets owned by pastors can be used to repatriate Nigerians, but they only call for tithe and offerings and not doing the needful.

He wrote on his Instagram page, “A minor attack on tithing and almost every pastor comes out to defend it.

“A major attack on humanity and up until now I’m waiting for the first pastor to stand in condemnation, or put their resources together and make that difference.

“One GO, they say owns 4 private jets, imagine how many of our brothers that could help bring home. If they could use church jets to buy ammunition, why can’t they use them to bring home our brothers?

“Or are they implying that the lives of our brothers are worth much less than the guns that will kill them?

“Celebrities are coming out to speak and stand up for our brothers, WHERE ARE OUR PASTORS??? Are they too busy advertising their next concert, or are they so preoccupied with filling their event centers this Sunday, that they can’t take a few minutes off practicing the speeches that will ginger 10 people to bring out =N=1Billion each, to remember the plight of the very brothers Jesus admonished us to keep?

“Could the demeanor of these pastors be attributed to the fact that the refugees don’t have tithe cards?

“I thank the federal government for rising to the occasion and bringing home our brothers, some returned tonight, as reported by captain @usoroessien.

“It’s a damn shame to us all, if the government proves more caring and compassionate that the so called ‘house of God’.

Lets remember, true Christianity is about love, NOT MONEY!

  3. Hypocricy of the highest order! Na today? The so - called G.Os or Pastors shud allow the fatherless and the poor have access to free education in their so - called schools built in the name of God and thithing.Or wot is d essence of ur private jets and universities wen the poor and the needy are languishing in abject poverty, and stranded in a strage land. U demi god pastors shud stop bein selfish and greedy and walk the talk - just as Jesus compels all xtians. Rada than accumulating unnecessary and fleeting riches! Our modern - day pharisees! The more church buildings, the more crimes and all sort of immoralities! Tell mi ur value as self-acclaimed men of God! It's well wit us all!

  4. This man, you are getting things wrong by not knowing where to draw lines. I do not support tithing by Christians. This position I have taken is not by your own "noise" but by the effective teaching of the bible and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ which I have received since 2004 in the church I used to worship at 7 Deji Odunuga, Anthony Lagos. I thank God for using the church Pastor John Amoda to teach me the true Gosple as it is in the bible and from the Holy Bible I was taught. In summary: everything concerning the law including that of tithing is for the Jews. Christians used to be gentiles without any relationship with , God but now they (we) are the people saved by the Grace of God in Christ Jesus. We Christians do not need to give in order to receive (be blessed). We have been blessed already in Christ Jesus. Book of Malachi often used by pro tithing pastors to call for tithes actually referred to the Jews that were already cursed and not Christians.I could go on and on about why we Christians are not under the law of tithing and should not give or receive tithes.Pastor John Amoda in his work to teach the Gospel has made biblical exposition into books where he addressed tithing and other money making
church-businesses; the books are 1. tithing and Christianity, 2.That thunderous declaration on non tithers, 3. Pentecostalism in chains: the merchandising of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, before old age took control, Pastor Amoda used his platform on Tuesday Vanguard to teach Gospel and addressed some of these issues of tithing or sowing ...in churches. But in your own case, you have made yourself an arrogant opposition to whatever pro tither pastors do or not. It is becoming of you that you don't know where to draw lines. I will not be surprised if one day you begin to question pro tithing pastors for sleeping with their wives. I have watched your video. Its bad for you to call people goat. Avoid insults and criticism. Advance your knowledge of the bible. It is the Holy Spirit that convinces people to accept the truth and not your arrogance, insult, disrespect and opposition. If your work is of the Holy Spirit, Im sure that people will come to accept the word of God through you like I heard through Pastor Amoda in 2004 and I accepted. Further more, what is happening in Libya first demands governments' actions. Not that of church or pastors. Truth be told. It is only when government has made their plans for evacuation known and they need help in one way or the other that NGO,Individuals or Churches etc can come in to support or plug in into government intiatives. It is an international issue. Nigerian government will first establish contacts/ discussions with the Libyan authorities and create platform for others to show love to the victims. Libyan authorities or the slave masters do not recognise churches so churches can not go and take actions. In addition, you do not need to thank the government for living up to their responsibilities and talk against the churches as if it is their primary responsibilities to go to Libya for evacuation or whatever. You are just trying to ''paint'' such church leaders bad. David
