VIDEO: IPOB members in daring confrontation with Nigerian soldiers

A detachment of soldiers from the Nigerian Army yesterday surrounded the Afaraukwu country home of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The soldiers arrived the community on Tuesday barely 48 hours after the clash between the Army and IPOB members on Sunday evening.

The soldiers returned with about 10 Armoured Carrier Vehicles and seven Hilux vans.

In the video below, IPOB members engaged in an open confrontation with the soldiers

  1. Nigerian Army has nothing to loose butIPOB members should talk to themselves and stop all this vision less mission. The guy that was shot in the video clip can never be balanced in that leg. Now tell me who is feeling the pain and tension. You better tell Kanu to let peace has it way in your land

    2. People like you keep on asking the same stupid question of what Nigerian Army are doing in Kanu's environment. They're there to keep law and order which is what has just happened in the video. Miscreants attacking military Personnel Carriers with sticks, bottles and stones. Can't you see your stupidity?

    3. Bankole Fanta or what do call urself, Do u see ur hopelessness, is that the only place in the southeast they can go, people as selfish like u will not understand things until it happen, that is why feeding and training u were given in life is as good as buying female dog for its production, I don't expect nonentity like u to talk when I talk because u lack manner

    4. What is IPOB fighting for? Kanu and his sponsors (evil men)are only exploiting the joblessness in the country to use people to achieve their selfish aim. Kanu and his sponsors are not fighting for anyone but themselves. Where is Kanu's immediate family members? Have any of them been victim of this agitation? The idiots that allow themselves to be used thinking that they are fighting for Biafra would only have themselves to blame.

  2. Buhari should send soldiers to the northern states which issued quite notice to igbos should in case they change their mind on the withdrawal, the soldiers he sent to the eastern state will not stop the igbos from retaliation in case the northerners push against the igbos, if u watch the video yesterday in Rivers state u will how the soldiers escorted the Hausa safely to the Musk after they have provoked the Abians, is that not injustice, soldiers that supposed to be in the barrack or check point are now seen on the street, police is no more relevant to the state. In as much as I don't support Biafran nation, the ideas of using soldiers against them is the worst mistake Buhari has made, let's wait and see as event unfolding

    1. @Michael, your comments shows that you are in full support of this senseless agitation. That is rather a rebellion against the Nigeria state as it is not a peaceful agitation in any sense. Keep supporting them and you all will not have any village to travel to when push comes to shove. Remember, that was how some northeners tacitly supported Bokoharam when they started but today, most of them can't visit any village in Bornu state.

  3. Olowe pls try and think straight. If one is tired of a relationship he/she quits. Right now the Igbo wants to quit why not allow them. Even in Europe, Asia and america when there is a protest or civil unrest, they don't handle the other way we do one ours here. The security agencies primary duty is to protect lives and properties, but what have we here, soldiers killing civilians. Na was oh. Pls don't beclouded with sentiments.

  6. Daring? Contending with fully armed, trained soldiers? This is stupidity. They only wanted to waste their lives unnecessarily. People will curse and shout but after some time they will be forgotten. They will only remain permanent loss to their families.

    1. The equation is not as simple as you think. By the time the Igbos go, the South-South would also want to go, and the South-West. And may be a chunk of the Middle belt, you can never be too sure. So how do you handle that?
