Mbaka reveals how Igbos will treat each other if their nation is achieved

Controversial Enugu-based Catholic Priest, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka has predicted what will likely happen should agitators succeed in their push for the actualisation of Biafra.

Mbaka said he was convinced that fault lines between different Igbo communities would arise if Biafra ever became a reality.

The priest made this prediction while addressing a cross section of Igbos in East London, on Tuesday.

According to Mbaka, “If you think we have trouble in Nigeria now, we will see trouble in Biafra.
“No Anambra man would let an Enugu man be president, no Imo man would let an Abakaliki man be president”.

Mbaka also faulted claims that the South East is being marginalised.

Citing the immediate past administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, the controversial priest said an Igbo was Finance Minister, Central Bank governor, and so on.

Mbaka also noted that those whom the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu have been able to influence into agitating for Biafra are “the children of the poor,” who are not thinking properly about the implications of secession.

He insisted Biafra agitators were being deceived by Kanu.

Mbaka had earlier disclosed why Igbos must insist on the unity of Nigeria.

  2. Me I thought as much, but we need restructuring and true federalism instead of Biafra

  3. Mbaka, don't you know the meaning of United States of Biafra as has been suggested by Asari Dokubo? That name should reveal to you that what you have just explained has been seen by more meaningful thinkers earlier than you did. For how long have we been discussing the issues of unity in Nigeria? You need be told that the efforts of IPOB are worth trying.

  6. Mbaka when the centre is made weak through true federalism; Presidency becomes unattractive. for instance if Bayelsa state is allowed to control its resources will Timipreye Silva vie for Presidency or state governor? your guess is as good as mine. Mbaka you should be telling your friend n father buhari of his seemingly unrepentant treatment of the Igbo race in his bias ethno appointments and leave Igbo's alone

  7. I hope that in giving the quit order to Igbos in the north, Mbaka and the likes were exempted! Mr Fr Mbaka is a product of poor seminary education and education unlike catholic education system. He is simply hollow and is using fake prophecies to cover up and deceive those gullible followers he has managed to brainwash.

  9. Thank tpu father Mbaka, Your view is so so correct... however, I still feel the igbos feeling marginalised is because we haven't had an Igbo president in a very long while. Maybe we should restructure and also zone presidency to the igbos, that way we will see what becomes of Nigerian guided by an Igbo entrepreneur. Hopefully we can explore our diversity to the fullest, let's keep discussing without being aggressive towards one another

  13. Who says Igbos have not been president? Was Jonathan not an Igbo president? During 2015 elections, we said he was Igbo, so we have had our share but nothing to show for..not even in bayelsa of Niger delta did he do anything..So ethnic president is not d solution but a leader like Buhari with d political will to do the right thing. Like Ogoni land cleaning that was left for years, east-west road, enugu-Ph road, enugu-awka road, passage of pib bill, initiative to develop modular refineries, agriculture etc..what Jonathan could have identified and pursued instead he gave his people guns to remain in f creek and not see wisdom, global impact whilst oil fades away..what a tragedy bcos, his people will wake up soon and realise that oil is useless as the world moves away from oil..let's get behind Buhari for impactful leadership..God bless Baba. God bless Nigeria..We love Buhari

  18. I am afraid, MBAKA is correct.
Once Biafra is born, it shall be the downfall of the Igbos,
A period of Wilderness experience. It shall be like walking away from the blessing
