How Nnamdi Kanu’s dialogue with governors will affect agitation for Igbo nation – Methodist Archbishop, Ede

The Methodist Archbishop of Enugu Archdiocese, Most Rev. Christopher Ede, has observed that the decision of South East governors to dialogue with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu will go a long way in dousing tension arising from agitation in the region.

Ede said this while commending South East governors for commencing dialogue with the IPOB leader.

Speaking with newsmen on Saturday in Enugu, the clergy man said, “First of all, I want to thank them (the South East governors) for swallowing their pride to meet with them, Kanu and his members.

“Because when we met at Nike Lake (Hotel) and some people were saying, isolate him; diminish him. That is not the right way to handle this matter.

“I thank God that they have now understood the meaning of dialogue.

“I thank God for the first meeting as well as other subsequent meetings and dialogues.

“I do hope the outcome of the meetings will douse the tension we have in the land”.

In a bid to find solution to the tension in the country arising from agitation for Biafra, South East Governors had recently met with the IPOB leader and some of his followers.

  1. Igbo Governors will run to Abuja and report all that was discussed and return with instructions from the Abuja feudal head office for this unitary state. Why do you think that they have invited soldiers to invade the south east? Not police. Is there a war going on there? Igbo leaders are political prostituting like they have been doing since the 80s. Their God is money and will do anything for peanuts. They have not self worth or respect for their own people. Igbos need to look inwards at their own leaders including the so called brothel called ohaneze first before they address the Nigerian state the people that run that excludes them. Igbo have been cursed with terrible leaders.
