Governor Ikpeazu declares three-day curfew in Aba over Nnamdi Kanu, military face-off

Following the tension in Aba, the Abia State capital, the State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has declared a three-day curfew in the commercial city.

The tension is not unconnected to the current face-off between member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and men of the Nigerian Army.

Recall that soldiers allegedly besieged the Umuahia residence of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
