What would have happened if Buhari’s men killed Charlyboy – Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has condemned the attack on maverick entertainer, Charles Oputa also known as Charlyboy during a protest in Abuja on Tuesday.

Charlyboy and his group left their meeting point at Unity Fountain and decided to take their campaign to the popular Wuse Market in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Upon their arrival, they were attacked with stones by sympathizers of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Fani-Kayode, writing on his Twitter page, said that Nigeria would have “exploded” if Charlyboy was murdered.
He tweeted: “The Buhari govt. is a murderous contraption that has no respect for human rights. Charly Boy Oputa could have been murdered by Buhari’s footsoldiers today.

“If that had happened Nigeria would have exploded. Tension grips the land as we approach Oct.1st. WE MUST REJECT VIOLENCE!”

Even if you had staged the senseless protest and Nigerians sees you as a nuisance capable of disturbing the peace of the nation you will be stoned to death and nothing will happen, talk less of common Charlie boy an unsuccessful musician looking for attention, or you are the one sponsoring him? Fani something, lead a protest in Nigeria and see your weight and worth! More so learn to respect elders and constituted authority. President Mohammed Buhari is not your mate!
