Rodents Ravage Buhari’s Office

The Senior Special Assistant to the President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Shehu Garba, has said that the president’s office was ravaged by rodents during his medical trip which lasted over a hundred days in the United Kingdom.

Garba said: “Following the three months period of disuse, rodents have caused a lot of damage to the furniture and the air conditioning units,” he said, explaining that it was impossible for his boss to operate from the office in that condition.

Garba, however, said this would not affect the effectiveness of Buhari’s work since the residence has an annex to the office, adding that the president had been carrying out his duties from home since he resumed.

However Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad explained through his twitter handle that the President will temporarily operate from his official residence also located in the villa.

  3. Someone tot dis was a good opportunity to imply that the presidents office needed new furniture's and air conditioning only to pocket the money later.

How can rodents take over d office of d president is dis man High on gutter water. Is he serious. Is he fir real. Are we soo stupid to be fed such crap.

Man Naija we have been taken for a ride for far too long.

In d presidents speech he made mention of people crossing d line with their comments on social media. I believe his media aid has also crossed d line with such insane comment.

Can we see d evidence of d rodent invested office after all our collective resources will be stolen to replace or as usual we have no right to demand for that also.

  10. Whoever wrote and release this press statement should be sacked, though we clamouring for honest and transparency in all but we need to use our discretion in some situations as they stupidly did with the nature of his sickness, but this ridiculed story. This is done to embarrass the President by his communication aides. It's bad and senseless.

  11. Even in private homes people carry out routine fumugation to ensure that rodents will be unable to survive in that environment,How much more the number one man's office. It's obviously Nigerians have been taking for granted. Go and check federal parastatals ,they also carry out routine fumigation. Someone is now telling house the presidents office is infested by rodents. These people should just fear God if they can't respect him
