PDP Blasts FG Over Claims Of N1.3trn Projects

Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has criticised the Federal Government over the N1.3 trillion it claimed to have invested in 2016 on capital projects in the country, noting that there were no physical projects to justify the claim and that if such amount was used for capital projects, “there wouldn’t be infrastructure decay in the country.”

Publicity Secretary of PDP in Rivers State, Mr. Samuel Nwanosike, stated this in Aluu community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state yesterday, when over 200 supporters of All Progressives Congress, APC, defected to PDP.

Nwanosike urged the Federal Government to be truthful to the people, stating that there are no such projects in the Niger Delta, even as he expressed sadness over the deplorable state of the East-West Road.

Also, Elder Anthony Wordu, Vice Chairman of PDP Elders Council, Aluu, expressed concern over the state of roads in Aluu, saying, “I want politicians that come to Aluu to follow the road and see what we have been going through for years now.”
