Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF, has said it was not part of the newly released anti-Igbo song produced in northern Nigeria.
The AYCF called on security operatives to urgently fish out and prosecute those behind the Hausa hate song.
President of the Northern youth group, Yerima Shettima told reporters that they do not incite violence but believe in peaceful coexistence.
“Such hate materials not only constitut nuisance in our society but are capable of causing mayhem,” he said.
“We condemn it out-rightly from the word go because hate song or speech does not have a place in this society.
“The truth is that we don’t know anything about the song.
“And we are using this medium to appeal to the security agencies to fish out those people behind such hate song and bring them to book according to the law”, he added.
