Nigerians have reacted with mixed feelings to President Muhammadu Buhari’s address to the nation on Monday, two days after he returned from medical vacation in the UK.
The speech which did not last up to 10 minutes, addressed issues majorly bordering on security and also the wrong use of social media in spreading fake news.

Some of the reactions on Twitter were positive, with some users happy with Buhari’s return after over 100 days away.

Others were furious with the brevity of the speech and were left uninspired.

  3. With due regard Ojukwu has come and gone, leave him out of these days issues. Let it be clear and known to you that the only credibly negotiable issue in Nigeria is that its peaceful coexistence is NEGOTIABLE. Everything you do today to shutdown this burning issue will amount to palliative which will be short-lived as events unfold. For example, Ojukwu is no more, so also other leaders like you Mr President and the led will be no more in course of time. But what you will do to recognize every nook and cranny of this country is what can alluringly keep the country together, not your stock phrases. Think about it again.
