The Commissioner of Police in
Lagos State, Fatai Owoseni, has said news of appointment of a new police commissioner
for the state was shocking to him.
The CP said this while addressing
newsmen in Ikeja, Lagos on Wednesday, maintaining that he is still the Police
commissioner.
He said he was yet to receive any
directive regarding the posting of a new police commissioner in the State.
“When we get the information, we
will let you know.
Owoseni said this in reaction to
reports of his removal.
