Don’t be fooled, Nigeria will never be restructured before, after 2019 – Shehu Sani

The Senator representing Kaduna Central constituency at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has cautioned Nigerians against thinking that the nation will be restructured before the 2019 general elections.

According to him, political elites are just engaging in cheap talks about restructuring in order to buy time before the campaign for the next round of general elections commences in earnest and eclipse the issue of restructuring.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Sani further warned that Nigerians should also not expect the nation to be restructured even after the 2019 polls.

“No ‘restructuring’ will take place before 2019; it will be all talks, storms and ‘buying of time’ until the drumbeat of elections eclipse that of ‘restructuring

“Restructuring will be in the campaign manual of all Nigerian political parties for 2019 general elections.

“Some will even back it up with documents both soft and hard copies. Some will even share DVDs of how the polity will be restructured.

“After the elections then ‘the Government needs to settle down’; then the ‘Government need to study the document’,” the Senator said on Saturday morning.

  2. Wait a minute!! If we restructure this country is it not this same people that will go and dominate the state as well? Please to start with remove immunity and make death penalty a law for corrupt politicians and let see

  3. Senator Sani, we Biafrans know that already. It's mumu and stupid citizens that still believe in restructuring and one-Nigeria. Nigeria is a corrupt, lawless, useless and Islamic country.
