Gunshots and teargas have been
fired to disperse trouble makers to avert crisis in Wuse Market, Abuja
following an attack on the,“Our Mumu Don Do” protesters led by maverick
entertainer, Charles Oputa also known as Charlyboy on Tuesday.
Upon their arrival, they were
attacked with stones by sympathizers of President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, men of the Nigeria Police Force who were stationed in the market
quickly took control of the situation to restore peace and order.
Speaking during the clash, one of
the leaders of the anti-Buhari protest, Deji Adeyanju said: “If the president
had any integrity he will honorably resign.”
