Aso Rock Staff Put On Alert For Buhari’s Return

All is now set for President Muhammadu Buhari’s return from the United Kingdom as State House staff has been put on standby.
It was learnt that some family members of the president and his wife’s security aides arrived Abuja yesterday.
An aide to the wife of the president hinted that Mrs Aisha Buhari might also return to Nigeria Wednesday.
President Buhari has been in the United Kingdom since May 7 undergoing treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
Mrs Buhari’s aide said: “The information just reached me now from the wife of the president that everything is set for the return of Mr. President to Nigeria. Already, some of the president’s family members and security aides of madam (Aisha Buhari) have just returned from London.
“The wife of the president may either leave London on Wednesday or decide to come home with the president anytime soon. We have been told to be on standby because Mr President is returning anytime soon this week.”
Some staff of the State House, including security operatives, also said they got a directive yesterday, asking them to be on standby for the president’s return.
The staff, who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, however added that the directive did not contain any specific date for the president’s return.
“We were only instructed to be ready for the return of the president at any moment. No specific date has been mentioned to us,” one of the staff said.
Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, had last Tuesday quoted Buhari to have told the president of Guinea, Alpha Conde that he was making good progress and that he would return to his duties as soon as doctors advise.
Yesterday, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said Buhari received a goodwill message from the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Shehu, in a statement, quoted the CAN President, Rev Samson Ayokunle, as describing the news of Buhari’s recovery as “a rejuvenation of hope” and congratulating Nigerians “on the joy of having their president back soon.”
Shehu said: “Such messages of goodwill from respected religious bodies like CAN meant so much at a time, when people with ill intentions were struggling to divide the country along religious lines. He also thanked the CAN for its continued prayers for the President’s health.
“The Presidency looks forward to further collaborations with CAN to ensure that Nigerians of all ethnic and religious groups benefit from the policies of the President Buhari administration which are aimed at improving the welfare of every single citizen of our great country.”

  5. Thank U Jesus Christ the Healer of all. I'm sure this is indeed an answered prayer of healing for President Buhari for all Nigerians for a better Nigeria. Thank U Biggest Daddy, our Father in heaven inJesusname. We welcome u our President, Mr Buhari back home and we are so joyful that u will come back and resume ur good office and continue from where ur able and God strengthened VP Mr Osinbajo has so far brought us in ur absence. I'm sure u will be very proud of his leadership in ur absence. I think he stood for ur principles and held the ground in ur absence. God bless u both inJesusChristname, amen. I'm not political and I don't belong to any political party, I'm with God through Jesus Christ.
Now that u are back, there are so many things we are expecting from u and I think u know them urself. But as a reminder, let me just talk about two out of many. This corruption fight must be BROAD BAND and must be fought to its very foundation, no more a surface level of one way street fight. There's no political party in Nigeria that's not been corrupt and to fight a one sided war against corruption will be undermining ur CALL, STRENGTH, ABILITY, INTEGRITY, and WISDOM. We know it may be difficult for u but it's doable. We elected u and God put u there for a purpose and u must not allow the words and advice of men, the cowards to stop u from fulfilling ur mandate for the people of Nigeria. Nigerians are in economic slavery and the way they can get out is by God's hand to root out corruption but if u are afraid, then may be we would have to wait for another person. But I think this is ur time. Help this country while u can.
The second thing is that, Nigeria must be united and be governed by love, God's love. Nigeria I think is a product of God even though the devil might be fighting to destroy it. U as the President, u are the Baba of all and as such u cannot be partial to any tribe, ethnicity, language, or religion. U must see to the overall interest of Nigeria in peace. U must be loving and be faithful to bring all Nigerians together with love and persuation. U must be able to use God's grace to bring everyone together for peace and unity of Nigeria, though difficult but achievable through Jesus Christ our Lord. Be careful in the execution of these missions so that we nigerians may continue to live together in peace, armony, and love forever. May ur eyes be opened to the light of Jesus Christ God's Son as u pursue ur missions within God's will for Nigeria and may u not be distracted from that which u have been placed the leader of Nigeria by God through Jesus Christ His Son. We shall continue to pray for u and we know that He is able inJesusChristname. With all the love I have, Today Tuesday 08012017 @ 2:08pm.
