Anyone Who Tries To Arrest Me Will Die – Nnamdi Kanu boasts

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), says anyone who tries to arrest him will die.

He said this in reaction to the call of the federal government that his bail should be revoked.

After spending 18 months in detention, following his arrest by the Department of State Services (DSS), Binta Nyako, justice of a federal high court in Abuja, granted him bail on April 25.

But the activist has flouted all the bail conditions, prompting the calls for his arrest.

But speaking on Sunday at Boys Technical College (BTC) in Aba, Abia state, Kanu paid tribute to those reportedly killed at National High School, by security agencies.
Kanu during his last arrest/court trial

He said the quest for Biafra was unstoppable, adding that the call is a “message from heaven.”

He also insisted that the Anambra gubernatorial election will be boycotted except a referendum which the group has been clamouring, is conducted.

“Where we are, is Biafra Land. Aba is the spiritual capital of Biafra land. We started in Aba in 2015 at CKC (Christ the King Catholic Cathedral),” Kanu said.

“That day, heaven authenticated our move that IPOB will restore Biafra and that’s what we’ve come to do. We died in Aba; at National High School.

“They shot and killed us in other places in Biafra land when they were protesting for my release. As our people rest in the grave, we’ll never rest until Biafra is restored. I don’t care what they say in Abuja. I don’t give a damn what they say in Lagos.

“I’m a Biafran and we are going to crumble the zoo. Some idiots who are not educated said that they’ll arrest me, and I ask them to come. I’m in Biafra land. If any of them leaves Biafra land alive know that this is not IPOB. Tell them that’s what I said.

“Tell Buhari that I’m in Aba and any person who comes to arrest Nnamdi Kanu in Biafra land will die here. I’ll never go on exile I assure you.

“Some people talk about restructuring, are we doing restructuring of Nigeria now? Are we doing fiscal federalism? Are we doing devolution? What we want is Biafra!

“Forget all the nonsense they write about us. We are not slowing down and no man born of a woman can stop us.

“They thought we are joking and God gave us a simple message that no one can stop us. The movement to restore Biafra is unstoppable.

“The message of heaven is what I bring to you. Don’t be afraid. The plans of our enemies are not going to be actualized. The enemies are planning, but we are formidable.

“We are going to boycott Anambra state election. After Anambra 2017, in 2019, there’ll be no elections in Biafra land. Signed and sealed. My message is that there’ll not be election in Biafra land ever again until they give us date for referendum

Some of IPOB members who spoke to reporters at the venue said that they defied going to church to come and listen to their leader and a man that God has destined to use to liberate the people of the southeast and old eastern region from the hands of corrupt and insensitive leaders who have over the years decided to impoverish than make life meaningful for their subjects.

They however vowed to join hands with Kanu to ensure that Biafra was realized no matter how long it would take.

    1. If truly you all need something why not approach it properly, can you be rude to God or your father even your boss because you want something from him. If truly you one God why not do that totally by respecting the law of the land as he said? And again, I only pity people you are exposing bcos if it happens now u will all cover your heads and allow some people to be killed what sort of madness is that. You have so many leaders from the biafra land who had killed us by stealing, u all know them why not confront them and ask them what belongs to you that they stole but instead you coming up with hate speeches in bringing disunity and encourage war....How many of you can stand that? Boko Haram is on killing innocent people while they are bn granted amnesty how about the lost souls? Odua are beginning to shout, and u all want peace, peace will never come and it will surprise you all that Invaders are only waiting to capitalised on the loop holes and by then you will become a refugee in your country without any opportunity to speak. Look at many citizenries now that are refugee in their own country bcos of boko Haram and the selfish interest of the big thieves we should all face and Chase to their graves...Asari has made his own shares with numerous wives and cuncumbines,Deziani is there, ibori did his own and so many others. These are the mad fools we should face in respective of where you come from but for stealing from our common heritage we need to erase you and your race. Then Believe it Nigeria will then be a lovely place to be with reasonable and committed leaders. So enough of all ds blood she'd and Kanu, listen to this, u won't be able to do anything when u are confronted. We know what you are looking for. Defend yourself first before fighting for others.

    1. Pledging to Nigeria as your country is not a crime,..In the same way pledging to Biafra as my country shouldn't be a crime because am entitled to self determination.

  8. The problem I see is that the people the makes comments here lack understanding of how agitation works. Civil disobedience is a legal way to force a government to listen. Why did asuu go on strike (which is a civil disobedience). Also protests is also civil disobedience. Hence the call for election boycott is a civil disobedience. Until the process of dialogue is set in motion, no meaningful result will be achieved. To avoid crisis let the government employ diplomacy. If they use force it will be counter productive. Nigeria has spent billions of dollars in handling boko haram. Pls don't create another one in the south east by not handling these issues very well.

  9. This man should not be underated at all. He that is down need no fear nor fall, let Nigerian government apply wisdom rather than force cos right now Nigeria is more divided than before. The man Nnamdi KANU from his actions no longer fears death as he is ready to die just to achieve Biafra.

    1. Mr man if he is ready to die let him die. Nobody is bigger than Nigeria. Enough of this madness just because of Buhari being a Muslim northerner.
How I wish IPOB snowballs into Boko Haram so that they too will witness what the north east had gone through.
The northerners are farmers and hunger cannot easily set in even if there is war because the war will not stop rainfall.
Claiming marginalization to create problem, tell me who is not marginalized in this present Nigeria.

  10. federal govt. failed in the first instance when they refused to obey several court oders setting this guy free. now he has disobeyed court orders on terms of his release, my question is what moral right has the govt to go back to the courts they disobeyed to ask them to revoke nnamdi KANU bail? Nigeria is a failed system take or leave it

  12. IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is absolutely correct. Any attempt to re-arrest him will spell doom for Nigeria. In fact, the IGP Ibrahim Idris should go first and arrest president Buhari for disobeying court orders, VP Osinbajo for his coward leadership, Tinubu, Lai Mohammad, parasitic Arewa Youths, Shettima, El-Rufia, and other northern terrorists before talking about IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra. Biafra is a nation and its people are peacefully seeking self-determination to exit from the murderous Islamic Nigeria. What's the crime here? We cannot allow these murderers to subjugate us - a people of 40-60 million people to live in bondage, slavery, and oppression. Any attempt to re-arrest Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will spell doom for Nigeria.
