Following the killing of two lovers by suspected members of the Badoo cult, the spokesperson for the police in Ogun State, ASP Abimbola Oyeyemi, has said the state command was looking into the cause of their death.
He said the command was briefed that the assailants gained entrance into duo’s apartment through the window.
Oyeyemi stated, “We cannot say for sure if the killings were done by the Badoo cult. You know anybody can perpetrate the act and hide under Badoo.”
Suspected members of the Badoo cult had on Friday morning attacked the victims in their apartment in Ogun State.
The incident happened at a storey building located on Hassan Abiodun Street, off Ojodu Berger, in Ifo Local Government Area of the state.
Many of the residents could not be consoled as policemen from Ojodu Abiodun Division took away the remains of the deceased for onward transfer to the General Hospital Sagamu.
Many of the residents wailed as the corpses were brought out of the room and wrapped in wrappers.
As I have previously said, I still say that the only solution to these problems is the prescription, medication, and solution that God had given us on the cross about 2,000 years ago and that is Jesus Christ, God's Son. Accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and obedience to Him is the only way by which all these evils can be taken off Nigerian streets because then we will understand what genuine LOVE is and how to manifest it to our neighbors. Without Jesus Christ changing the hearts of men, men shall always live under the influence and oppression of evil that encompasses greed, love for money, make it at all means possible, ritual killing, just in short, SIN. As long as the heart of men is under the influence of sin, nothing good and acceptable can manifest in and from such heart. As long as the heart of Nigerians are not changed, this type of things will continue because such a heart that is not under Jesus Christ inluence is vulnerable to evil and will finally fall. We all need a good campaign for soul winning and salvation and that can only be by Jesus Christ blood. You may bring up an argument and say, "What about those that claim that they are born again and yet commit sin or crime? What about even some Pastors that are into evil? What about the Church leaders that are as bad if not even worse than Badoo cult? Yes you are right because there are some like that but the truth about that is that, "Those are not born again, they are not Christians, they only lay claim to be Christians but they are not. That's what they say in other to deceive people, it's their way and form to camouflage. They are camelons and are not Christians." The Bible says that, "By their works you will know them and not by what they claim to be." He Jesus also said, "Not all that call me Lord Lord shall enter into God's kingdom but those that do the will of my Father in heaven." And it is part of the Father's will to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It's also the Father's will to love ur neighbor as urself. It's part of God's will not to kill. No one can do God's (Father's) will without accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord because He Jesus is the One that gives us the power, grace, ability, courage, wisdom, and everything we need to do God's will. Religion is not part of God's will but RELATIONSHIP. No one can do right except the Spirit of God is with such a person because the heart of men is too dangerously WICKED and that's why evil things like Badoo cult and killings are happening. It is the absence of Jesus Christ in one's heart that causes things like Badoo killings to happen. Let's all call on Jesus Christ and He will answer us and change our nation Nigeria beginning by changing our hearts so that we can change our land for the best. May God's grace and mercy rest upon every heart and mind in this nation of Nigeria for a real change inJesusChristname, amen.
