VIDEO: What we’ll do if Igbos refuse to quit North – Arewa youths spokesperson, Abdulazeez

Spokesperson of the Arewa Youths Coalition, Suleiman Abdulazeez, has said the youths will meet the governors of the 19 states in the North to withdraw the ownership of property belonging to Igbos if they failed to leave the region by October 1.
Recall that Suleiman had while addressing newsmen in Abuja after a meeting by Northern youths last week, called on the United Nations to declare the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, a terrorist group.
In a face-to-face video interview with Dickson Iruegbu of the Nigeria Right Now Project, Suleiman insisted that the north does not believe in restructuring and that the Igbos must leave the north.
He said if the Southeasterners failed to vacate the region at the expiration of the quit notice, they will go to their various state governments to withdraw the ownership of the property they own in the region.
He said, “We gave the Igbos quit notice because we want to have peace. You see, some people have insisted that they are not Nigerians. And their brothers in other places supported the impressions and supported that they are not Nigerians, but people of an independent nation of Biafra, then we asked them to go.
“We did not say there’ll be violence. But if by October 1 the Igbos in the North fail to pack their things and go, we’ll go to the government, ask them evoke the properties. And went that didn’t happen,we’ve done our best.
“I’m concoring to Nnamdi kanu’s position that the Igbos are entitled to Biafra and so should quietly leave our region. We are helping the Igbos achieve their aim.
“Igbos are not entitled to be equal citizens with other Nigerians in Nigeria. No they’re not unless a referendum is conducted and they say ‘yes we are Nigerians.”

    2. Yes, if the Igbos leave there will be no nation called Nigeria because the Niger Deltas will also leave and be on their own. I don't know if the Oduduwas will wants to remain with the North... Seizure of Igbos' properties I pity you for beeing so stupid and idiotic to even think that way. The North will suffer greatly because all the Oil wells and other investments belonging to the Northerners in the South will all be revoked. This 70 years old youth I advice you to stop taking brukutu...

  3. Saying quit notice by mouth is the height of stupidity the 70yrs old youth of the north. What they should do if they are helping the igbos is to use their majority in the Senate to ensure referendum is conducted as requested by igbos. If the igbos did not get the required vote to nab biafra the matter will rest. Simple. And if they get biafra. U dont have to seize their properties. U can impose heavy tax on their properties there by forcing them to either sale or pay the pay the tax. I blame the governors of the east for not collaborating as a region to encourage igbos to invest at home. But the north cannot do with out the igbos. I can say that boldly. CJ
