Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona has signed a one-year deal with Saudi Arabian football Club Al Ahli FC.
Oboabona’s former Turkish side, Çaykur Rizespor, were relegated to the second division at the end of last season.
Al Ahli has won three Saudi league titles and has never been relegated from the top flight in the Saudi Arabian League.
The 26-year-old was in Nigeria’s 2013 Eagles squad that won the African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
It could be recalled that Oboabona recently urged on all soccer loving Nigerians and beyond to offer prayers for the goal keeper, Carl Ikeme.
