Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has seemingly denied that he is set to leave Chelsea for English Championship outfit, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
There were reports on Sunday that the 23-year-old had agreed personal terms with Wolves and was poised to undergo medicals on Monday.
Omeruo, who made a rare appearance for a weakened Chelsea’s side in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against fourth-tier English club Crawley Town in a pre-season friendly, took to Twitter to dismiss the story.
When a fan cited a report claiming the player would have a medical at Wolves on Monday and another quizzed the Nigerian star about the purported move to the Molineux Stadium, Omeruo replied on Twitter: “Is it my own Kenneth Omeruo? Or someone else? No truth to it.”
The Chelsea defender has previously been sent out on loan to Ado Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor and has ruled out joining any team from Greece
