Nnamdi Kanu vows to kill Obasanjo and anyone from his lineage (VIDEO)

Addressing elders and chieftains at his residence in Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State on Thursday, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), said his organization would kill former President Olusegun Obasanjo if he attempts to harm the IPOB leader.

Mr. Kanu’s threat came after former President Obasanjo commented that Nigerians must do everything possible to stop the campaigning for the secession of Biafra, a cause spearheaded by Mr. Kanu.
The former president made the comment on Tuesday while speaking at the International Conference Centre in Abuja during the launch of the biography of the late Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari. He stressed that a failure to put an end to the Biafra agitation could lead to a repeat of the 1966 coup and the other events that eventually culminated in the civil war.

The Biafran agitator responded with a threat to the elder statesman. “I remember Obasanjo calling us names. They said we must eliminate Kanu and for those words coming out from his mouth, he is going to die,” Mr. Kanu declared.

“I told Obasanjo that I have given instructions to IPOB should anything happen to me. Everything that comes from Obasanjo’s lineage will die the same day at the same time. It is a standing instruction to IPOB.
Wherever they are, we will kill them ourselves at the same time, the same day, 12 noon, wherever we find them all over the world. I am not like anything they have seen before,” Mr. Kanu boasted.

    1. Idiot and a really big fool you are! Have you ever tasted war? You probably don't have elders to share with you the agonies of war. You should probably listen to world news and see what becomes of countries being plagued by war or better still try and pay a visit to such places. Infact , you need not go far. Pay a visit to the Northeast.
If you're a banker as you claimed which I seriously doubt, you won't come here posting senseless comments. I really pity your employers 'cos I doubt if you're adding any value to the organisation at all. The fool is probably in one of the branches outside the Southeastern region. And since all you do with the peanut you earn is just to feed yourself and family without any investments to worry about, why won't you call for war and follow a visionless leader like Nnamdi?

    2. You don't need to have witnessed War for you to be able to ask for your basic human right. I don't know why the zoo people reason with their anus. Referendum is not War, it's a basic human right recognized by UA, EU, and even UN. If Nigeria is a member of AU and UN, then it has no choice but to conduct referendum for Biafra, after which it can denounce it's membership of both AU AND UN as it so wishes

  2. This Kanu is a mad man. Look at what's coming from his mouth! You have climb the tree beyond the leaves. Your end has come for being rude to an elderly man like Obasanjo. We know you people don't have respect for the elders where you're coming from. Nobody is holding you from having your Biafra. You cannot continue to insult the rest of the tribes that makes up Nigeria and think you'll go unpunished. Keep your agitation to your tribe and leave the rest of Nigeria in peace. Go and learn respect; nobody has monopoly of violence.

    1. You are an idiot. In Biafra we don't respect people like obasanjo because he's a thief. You should have cautioned your rouge elder obasanjo to persuade the federal government of the zoo to conduct referendum if truly as you say"nobody is holding you from having your Biafra" ask your leaders or misleaders in conjunction with the zoo government, headed by awolowo's in law to conduct referendum and determine if the children of God will continue to live in Egypt or move to the promised land.

    2. Izuagba, you just confirmed what I said about a tribe that have no regard nor respect for the elders. You called Nigeria a zoo and yet you have refused to leave the zoo.

  3. You talk of respect, which leader has shown you respect as an electorate. They don't respect the power we have as a people. Looting our monies up and down. Yet, u talk of respect. He has known obasanjo right from the primary school as head of state and till now he's still relevant. He should retire for the young ones and tell us the truth. Some of u Nigerians surprise me a lot. How can u still be loyal for leaders looting our money. Its only in Nigeria that happens

    1. Karlos,if you truly believe in your so called Biafra, the first thing the Igbos have to do is to move to the East and encourage all Igbo descendants from all over the country to do so. Failure to do so show like of commitment to your so called Biafra agitation. You people don't need referendum to leave Nigeria and form your biafra. Majority of Nigerians want you out as quickly as possible if you may know. But if you want war, war you shall get but be reminded that General Ojukwu ran away, leaving behind vulnerable and innocent people when the going got tough during the civil war. Take it or leave it your gangster Kanu will also run away by the time the heat get to him. I am a Nigerian and I'm proud of it.

  4. The issue isn't just about Biafra; it's about Oduduwa Republic; it's about Niger Delta Republic; it's about Middle Belt Republic etc. Certain people can't be perpetually kept under subjugation. Why should some people be claiming superiority over others? Why must the present administration look away from the agreement of the conference convened by the immediate past administration? Obasanjo, I respect you highly, but at this point in time you and other leaders need to make the present administration do the right thing. If some people stand firm in their resolve to oppose restructuring of Nigeria, then the country stands to collapse - disintegration becomes the option not through any war, but through referendum. We aren't in 1966 any more, so 1966 can't repeat itself.

  5. Hmmmmm, when the war gets hot Nnamdi Kanu will ran away and leave these idiots at the mercy of the Northern soldiers to be slaughtered like fowl. I beg all people to stop calling for violence. You only know it's beginning but you can't tell where it ends.

    1. I stongly supprot biafra but not true the instrument of war. Kanu has never said he is going to war. The call is for Nigeria to conduct referemdum like is done in other parts of the world. If your wife decides to end the marriage would you hold tie her down in your house insisting that becos she sign the marriage certificate therefore she can't quit? The answer is no. Due to the long years of injustice to the igbos they have chosen to peacefully separate from Nigeria. I don't know why people have a problem with that. Ok if you have a problem with that , can quickly study the issues being raised and begin to address them. For instance how can the issue of a second naija bridge take yrs before it's constructed. How can u build a seaport in d east. How can the Nigerian government use for instance innoson to create millions of jobs in the east and Nigeria at large. The most annoying part is politicans promise job creation during campaign, after winning election they gather about 200 youths under one name and pay them 30k monthly. Is this what you call job creation. Secondly they will bring in two white guys and call them foreign investors whereas the ones in their domain suffer a great deal. These are the little deceptions of years that have transformed into the present day anger and resentments that is now manifested in different parts of the nation. But I must warn. Let nothing happen to kanu to that these agitations can remain manageable. Because any group that the leader dies usually takes a different dimension. Boko haram is an example.

    2. Did you just say Kanu never said he's going to war? Then it is either you were born stupid and/or you chose to remain one by choice. Listen to all his rants about gathering scientists that has built bombs and ogbunike that will deliver the warheads to burn down the zoo. I think its about time to let it happen. North says "go" and everyone started foaming from the mouth.

  6. I dont know where Obasanjo ask for the elimination of kanu, and I am disappointed that kanu, is speaking like a gang star, my Mum is from the east and my dad from the west, they have been married for over 55 year and are still together. I cannot raise arm against my mothers people nor my father's people. Nigeria is one and will remain one. All this noise will come to pass and Nigeria will still be one.

  9. Ibos, nobody is tying your neck to the zoo. Pack your bags tomorrow and relocate to the East. You don't need a referendum to do that.

  10. Can you imagine how this boy so called Kanu can have a gohose to insult and intimidated our Nigerian former president? ???. Kanu was born just in 1972 who has never even visit the North East in 2012/2013. And see what BOKO HARAM did, than to say he have seen what happened during civil war. And this person is leading people, I don't know where he is leading them to. Igbo elders should call him to order. Meanwhile let US see whether femi fani kayode have respect for OBJ or he likes igbos pass Yoruba's.

    1. I like what is happening now. You people should stop fighting Kanu or each other verbally, and face your politicians! All our present and past (who are still alive) politicians in Nigeria needs to be killed because they have totally destroyed this Country. They made the country the Zoo it is now. I don't know if people are enjoying the mess we are in this country? Please, my fellow Youths in the Zoo, lets emancipate our future from the hands of this wicked political leaders without minding religion, ethnicity, tribe, language, etc! The time is now! Nnamdi Kanu, FFK, Asari Dokubo, etc., are on it already. Let more of us emerge! We must return good life to the citizens of this country now or never!
