Nigeria’s break-up will bring calamity to the world – Bishop Yahaya warns

The Archbishop of the Diocese of Kaduna, Anglican Communion, Bishop Timothy Yahaya, has warned that the disintegration of Nigeria portends catastrophe of unimaginable proportion for the world and urged the United Nations to take measures to avoid such scenario.

Speaking during the 3rd session of the 20th synod of the diocese at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Kakuri, Kaduna, at the weekend, Tanya said West Africa would bear the brunt of Nigeria’s disintegration. He said ‘if today the country breaks up, there would no place to hide, there will be no place to go to. our neighbouring countries can not contend us as refugees.

According to him, “the number of cars in Lagos alone is more than all the cars in West Africa. So, everyone should be interested in what is happening in Nigeria”.

  2. Is Kanu more than anyone even the law. I think the government should treat his fuck-up ones and for all. What nonsense. This is treasonable, there is no room for referendum in this present Constitution we are operating.
If he mean business, he supposed to campaign for IPOB members to dominate their next assembly members from the East and state governors, after then move for Constitution amendment to include referendum, from their the agitation would see the light of the day. Anything short of this is public disturbance and the remaining part of the country will show them that nobody has monopoly of violence.
Anyway since he has said there will no election in Anambra state coming November lets see if election will not hold, if it hold eventually then his agitation will come to end momentarily

  3. What an ignorant statement by Bishop Yahaya. Nigeria break-up is the cure for backwardness, poverty, and shame that Nigeria has brought to Black people all over the world. Nigeria breakup is the cure for corruption, lawlessness and hopelessness in the country today. Nigeria breakup is the best solution for the failed State of Nigeria.
