Magu reveals those funding Biafra agitations, Boko Haram

The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has claimed that looters of Nigeria’s treasury over the years were those sponsoring the current agitation for restructuring and Biafra.

Magu stated this while speaking on Friday at a stakeholder’s meeting in Kano.
The anti-graft boss insisted that if the country must move forward, Nigerians must be determined to fight corruption at all levels.
“Corruption is a threat to the unity of this country and we must fight, despite the stumblingly blocks.
“Agitations of restructuring the nation, Biafra and even Boko Haram are being financed by looters of the country.
“The looters are ready to continue sponsoring all these violence against the state just to create confusion to distract attention against them. But that will not succeed.
“I can assure you that the President and the Vice President are committed to the fight against corruption and we have this political will in our leaders. We would not be deterred; we will continue fighting the war against corruption in this country.
“Again, those looting our wealth in this country are not more than 10,000 people and I don’t think there is any way the will of these people will prevail upon over the 150 million people of Nigeria,” Magu said.

Magu, please keep your mouth shut and concentrate on what you are supposed to be doing. A good fighter should be seen and not heard period! Continue the clean up operations and let the politicians do the talking else people will see you as taking sides.

  6. Magu reveals those funding Biafra agitations, Boko Haram... I was expecting to hear names. Not the old story we hav been hearing. Are u scared of them or do we hav some friends or paymasters as part of the looters. So u cannot reveal those behind the loot.

  7. Obviously some of the 10, 000 looters of the public treasury are domiciled in the red and green chambers of the National Assembly, which is why his [Magu's] appointment as the anti graft agency's chairman will not be feasible in the foreseeable future.

Corruption has desecrated our dear country. Corrupt elements in government must be eliminated and punished at all costs. Nigeria is our country, we must save her from these ignoble, corrupt people.

  8. Magu you have no credibility to talk in public. Not until you tell Nigerians the owner of the money you claimed you found at the Ikoyi building you are more of a criminal than those you claim are looters of the Nigerian economy. All of you are same criminals and thieves. Stop deceiving yourself and Nigerians that you're fighting corruption.

  9. Okay by your words IBB was a looter as well because he also called for restructuring. I would like to see you go after him. I feel Nnamdi has a good cause and I pray that God will direct his path. Nigeria needs a catalyst for change. NK might not achieve Biafra but his actions will certainly cause all of us to stop taking Nigeria for granted. Look outside, successful countries are countries that allow technical and skilled people to immigrate to their countries. Foriegners just come here to plunder Nigeria. They come here make money and don't develop Nigeria. Buhari and APC as we've all seen are too stained with the problem to bring SUSTAINABLE change. NK may your cause not die. may you inspire more nnamdi kanus who will continue to rekindle Nigerian's conscience and put an end to our selective memory.

  11. Magu stop peddling lies about Biafra! Biafra is bigger than your corrupt politicians and or their loot. Biafra is strong 70 million Biafran people all over the world seeking freedom from the murderous Islamic sharia republic state of Nigeria. Shut-up your mouth. This is not how to get confirmed as EFCC chair - or else, you will go down as others.

  12. The people of the North especially the Muslim worshippers is the problem of Nigeria because they feel they must have it all or determine what must happen.
