West Brom, Shanghai Shenhua fight over Ighalo

Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, is the subject of a transfer tussle between Premier League side, West Bromwich Albion and Chinese Super League outfit, Shenghai Shenhua.

West Brom have offered between £10m and £11m for the Super Eagles player, but Watford want in excess.

The DailyMail reports that there is a chance Ighalo could join Carloz Tevez in China. Talks are believed to be ongoing.

However, another Chinese club, Hebel China are monitoring the situation and could be ready to pay the Nigerian up to £200,000-per-week.

According to Talksport, the Pozzo family who owns Watford, are hoping they can keep Ighalo until the summer window.

The Chinese transfer window doesn’t close until February 28. But Watford would want a deal tied up in time, as the deadline for English clubs is January 31.
