Jonathan was a prophet – Reno Omokri

Former aide to the former president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has described him as a prophet.

Omokri's statement is coming as the Nigerian naira hit 500 per dollar at the parallel market segment on Monday.

He said former President Goodluck Jonathan's word has come to pass after the currency slide to an all-time high.

He tweeted with a photo: “As Naira hits $1 to ₦500, do read @GEJonathan's word. Retweet if you think he was a prophet. Fave if you think not”.

  6. Reno, I have been following your posts in online media. I have never met you, but I believe within me that you are a Christian, born again, and a pastor in California.

    I admonish you to be careful and don't mess with God. You know your boss wrecked Nigeria's economy.

    All other Countries in the World have survived the Global Economic downturn basically because their treasury was not callously plundered and looted in such a manner that your boss GEJ did.

    Reno, it is common sense and we do not need a specialist to tell us that the devaluation of the Naira is one of the key resultant effect of the callous plundering of our Commonwealth by GEJ and his cohorts. You have all looted our treasury and most of you also ran away and are virtually in hiding using our money that you all stole to be hiring lawyers to ensure you are not sent back to Nigeria to face the consequences of your unpatriotic and callous actions.

    However, it is unfortunate that for political and, ultimately, monetary gains, you see black and call it white. This means you have backslidden and unfortunately you cannot repent since you have refused to accept and declare the truth which is the key to freedom of the spirit.

    All the same, let me remind you that God deals with His people more severely than with those who don't know Him. Those who don't know Him can steal and tell lies and it would seem that God doesn't know. But you are not one of them, and you should remember that God would deal with you more severely.

    It is people like you, Reno, that God gave an opportunity to help GEJ succeed by telling him the truth so he could lead well. Instead of you and other men of God telling him the truth so he could lead Nigeria with honesty and integrity, you all danced around him and made him comfortable in profligacy. God will hold you and others like you to account.

    It is little wonder that the Religious bodies in Nigeria have not declared a National Day of Fasting and Prayer against all the looters of our Treasury who have refused to return our money. By their fruits we shall know all of them.

    Well sha, since in Nigeria we know say curse dey work well well, by this, I agree with the contribution that says;

    1) This Change shall work indeed work for Nigeria by that special grace of almighty God and to the shame of everyone of you sons of Belial.

    2) May God complete the deliverance of Nigeria from utter backwardness in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

    3) May the Lord continue to frustrate and reduce to oblivion all the known and secret enemies of Nigeria in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.

    4) May the Lord erase all the known and secret enemies of Nigeria like human fart in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
