Super Falcons Players Threatened With Life Bans | Nigeria News Today. Your online Nigerian Newspaper f

Authorities plan to ban several Super Falcons stars and some of the coaches could lose their jobs as fallout from the standoff over unpaid entitlements, according to reports.

Super Falcons striker Francisca Ordega will among the stars to be axed after she said she regrets playing for the country.

The USA-based star was later blasted by NFF president Amaju Pinnick for her comments.

“I can categorically state here that the name Ordega will never be heard or seen in a Super Falcons team list again. This I was told by another top official of the football house,” a source informed.

“No less than 10 of these players could be banned for life for ridiculing their fatherland before the international media and henceforth, the NFF may draw up a code of conduct to guide against future occurrences.”

“The coaches and officials are not left out as they could lose their jobs for not standing firm in support of the federation when it matters most.”

Nigerian sports minister Solomon Dalung visited the team Thursday and pleaded with them for understanding before their outstanding allowances and bonuses.

But the girls have dug in, insisting they will only quit their hotel when they get their monies.

  1. useless amaju, have you not been paid?u are such a useless fellow and deserve to be stone to death

  2. The officials should first draw code of conduct for themselves. Something is definitely wrong with some of our leaders especially those in the helm of sport affairs.

  3. Fatherland ko, motherland ni. Pay them their entitlements, bunch of thieves. Same way you treated the players that went to Brazil. Why are we like this? Yet the big men are not owed allowances.

  4. if ladies who won the nation a trophy could be said to ridicled the nation,Picnik and our sports minister who hoped for failure for your national team are then what? Foolish mogots who does not know a labourer is worthy of his or her wage. Pay them their money and lets see what you will share if no qualifiers are played idiot. We know it's only thieves like yourselves that their name keep reoccurring in Nigeria that's why we are where we are today

  5. So for standing on the truth, they would be banned for life, just imagine a country. So this is really happening in Nigeria and that bias illiterate says he is fighting corruption. In fact jail them for winning trophy for you.. zoo republic

  6. how did dalung pass the senate ministerial screening???

  7. It a shame that d NFF is about life ban. Someone used her life to represent the country and asking for what rightfully belong to them is now a sin. Nigeria is in deed confused. If I were a sports person I will not wear Nigerian colours. D leaders expect the followers to be patriotic but they can not be patriotic. As a rich man can they not work for government without salary like trump.

  8. Show of shame NFF! This is not how to reward hard work.

  9. Good ambassadors are threatened with life ban while the useless minister and NFF president will be decorated with National honour.
Ha ba! Life is unfair. May God punish Pinnick and Lalung
